Michelle Cheripka (she/her) writes, directs, and produces, currently from Los Angeles.

For work, she has edited (video and text), produced, and consulted for non-profits. She has worked with producers at Universal Television, Wolf Films, Marvel Studios, STX Films, and Columbia University’s Media Lab, among others, on tv series, commercials, documentaries, Facebook Live series, and feature films.

Michelle’s photography has been featured by Extend Programs. Her independent film work has screened in festivals and venues in New York, London, Los Angeles, Boston, Beijing, and Rotterdam.

Michelle has a B.A. in English from Columbia University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She holds an MPhil with Distinction in the Sociology of Media & Culture from University of Cambridge, where she conducted research on visual and narrative representations of climate change in fiction film (see projects page for research).
